Spring has Sprung!
Friends!! It has been forever since I've blogged, but I am so so happy to showcase this sweet little family who happens to be related to my husband and I! These cuties are my sister and brother-in-law along with my adorable, kind niece!
This entire year and a half has prevented us seeing one another, but now that things seem to be getting a little more normal with vaccination numbers rising, we were finally able to meet up, enjoy each others company, and sneak in some much needed updated family photos!
This session took all of 10 minutes, and their gallery is SO SO beautiful. Their family dynamic is such a joy to be apart of, and it makes my job so much easier when families can be their true selves and love on one another effortlessly. If you're a parent reading this who thinks there's NO way you're child/children will cooperate during a session, please know they can! I offer easy candidly posed prompts that make it easy to just be yourself. The days of standing and smiling are over. Don't get me wrong, I'll do my best to snap a posed photo where everyone's smiling and looking at the camera, but I'll never think the cookie cutter poses are better than the ones you see here. Where actual fun, and connection is being documented.
If you have an active child, getting them to twirl, dance, jump, or make silly faces is enough to break the ice, and make them feel more at ease in front of your photographer. Kids grow so fast, and before you know it you're adorable 2 year old is off to 1st grade, and can basically take care of themselves! Preserving these innocent moments are what you'll want to look back on in 10-20 years when they're off to highschool/college.
I mean how stinkin' adorable are these images! I know I'm biased but these sweet little moments are enough to make your heart melt..am I right?
I hope you enjoyed looking through just a few from this family's galler.! If you're interested in a session of your own, I have a handful of dates left for May, and am currently booking weekend sessions in June + July. Simply fill out the contact form via the Contact tab above, and I'll respond within 48hours!
